Association of the Miraculous Medal

As testimonies to the generosity of God's love in answer to prayers offered through our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, the Association receives thousands of letters. In that spirit of gratitude to God, the Association publishes edited sections of some letters.

September 25, 2017

The first letter is from Nevada.

Dear Father,

My mother loved our Blessed Virgin Mary so much that she enrolled all of her children, spouses, and grandchildren in the Miraculous Medal Association. She prayed the rosary daily and kept her medals with her all the time. My mother died the day after Christmas in 1979. Only my brother was with her. Just before she took her last breathe, she told my brother that there was the most beautiful lady at the foot of her bed. We believe the Blessed Virgin Mary came to take her home.

The second letter is from an email.

Dear Father,

In 2015 I was diagnosed with cancer. I underwent significant surgery which was followed by an aggressive battery of chemotherapy treatments through the remainder of the year. In March of 2016 I received the results of my first CT scan and they were positive and encouraging. I attribute my current state of well-being to the intercession of our Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Joseph on my behalf with our Lord Jesus. I have been faithfully wearing a Miraculous Medal since I received one at the age of 10. I am now 70. I am a true believer of the graces that I have received throughout my life as a result of my 60 year love affair with our Blessed Mother. My sincere devotion to our Lady and her spouse were a great source of comfort for me through this difficult medical period. I am convinced that "all things are possible with God," and that the intercession of our Blessed Mother and her spouse St. Joseph have been instrumental in my recovery. For that I am extremely grateful.

Share your story of Mary's intercession for you.
